How Dogsitting Brisbane started
2020 Where It Started
While working in retail, I met someone who had recently been gifted a dog and was looking for someone to spend some extra time with him. Having just moved out of home myself, I was missing my family dog, so it felt like the perfect opportunity. What started as simply spending time with a dog quickly became something I really enjoyed.
2021 Growing Through Word of Mouth
As more people heard about the care I provided, I began getting regular requests through word of mouth. I started charging for my services and focused on building a growing base of happy clients.
2022 Making It Official
I decided to turn my passion into my own business. I began putting proper procedures in place and started offering regular weekly dog walks, allowing me to provide consistent and reliable care to my clients.
2023 Taking the Next Step
As the business continued to grow, I launched DogsittingBrisbane.com.au, took out business insurance and continued building the foundations for a professional, reliable dog-sitting service.
